Big Fish Games (Read Review) With its recent release of Big Sea Games beta, Big Fish Games is one of the premier gaming communities on the internet. This community is really too big to explore in a single visit and will require a bookmark to see this site and take advantage of its features in its entirety. Signup is fast and easy and within minutes of your first visit, you are likely to be distracted by a new game. If it’s a good one, it is likely to have you hooked for hours.
Big Fish Games is comprised of several areas which you will want to make note of. The first we will want to highlight (and probably most entertaining) is the gaming community tab, Big Sea Games. This area is great for free online multi-player fun with games hosted in flash and built in java chat rooms. Here you can talk, compete and watch other players’ progress as the game progresses. Pitted up in a free-for-all or grouped into a team, there is a lot of excitement to be had.
The next area of Big Fish Games allows you to download Windows and Macintosh games directly to your computer. These games are 100% safe, tested and non-intrusive. Simply install the games you want to try and enjoy a trial period of ...Read More.
Play First (Read Review) PlayFirst is an excellent, well established gaming community with a fair amount of games to play. Gaming platforms supported on this site include free online game play, Windows Downloads, Macintosh Downloads, iPhone supported games, and games made specifically for download to your mobile phone.
The online game play area is simple, allowing you to play many (which would normally be full-version download) games directly from your browser. Games load up quickly however there is no chat-room, so multi-player online game play is out (for the time being at least). We expect that in the future, Play First may grow into the multi-user online game play arena, however for now users simply share their reviews of each game or talk amongst themselves in the PlayFirst Forums.
Game downloads are definitely the high-light of PlayFirst. The entire operation is seamless with your PlayFirst account. Download as many games as you like, they are all free-to-try, and when one has you hooked, you can purchase a license for unlimited game play. Their purchase system is based on a subscription system which allows you to buy one new game each month, all new games at 50% off.<...Read More.
